Have you read this book he references in this post? If so, what did you think?
I think I might need to get it judged by reviews on Amazon.
June, just got the book referenced and began reading it last night. It’s well balanced, which is nice. So many speciality diet books tend to drive a specific agenda (Paleo, Zone, Carb, etc). This one provides a little more breadth and allows for some specialization depending on pursuit (i.e., triathlon, rowing, marathon, cycling)… Will write more about it.
I do tend to incorporate more protein, limit waste carbs and approach a balanced protein, carb, fat than most endurance types. Began that right before last year’s Pikes Peak double (where hydriation and muscle strength is far more important than carb loading)…
thanks! i think i am going to order the book myself. all my waste carbs are GONE BABY GONE! feels fantastic!
not only waste carbs but just waste everything! feels fantastic to be eating 98% unprocessed!!!
